Roadway and Sidewalk Patching Services for Minor Streets

The City of New Orleans issued an Invitation to Bid for five (5) Roadway and Sidewalk Patching contracts for miscellaneous FEMA-eligible repairs at various locations throughout the City. These repairs are to be performed along "minor" streets, which are typically the smaller streets within neighborhoods. The repairs included in these contracts consist mainly of roadway and sidewalk patching repairs, and also include repairs to driveway aprons and curbs. This Web site provides the currently available information on the anticipated repairs. This information is subject to change based on FEMA direction and approval and should only be used to provide a general idea of the location and volume of patching services and the type of repairs to be performed.

The interactive map below provides City residents with the capability to search for and see the location of anticipated repairs. Once a search is performed, each icon on the map generally represents a "street block" that contains repairs. A "street block" is defined as a continuous street segment bounded by a cross street on each end. Each individual icon may represent a single or multiple repairs that are to occur within that given street block. By clicking on an icon, more detailed information on that specific location and the planned repairs will be shown in a pop-up window.

  • Construction is expected to start 60 to 90 days after bidding
  • Construction is expected to be completed in 18 to 24 months

Each "dot" on the maps represents a "street block" that contains a single or multiple anticipated repairs, similar to the icons in the interactive map above.
